Our Team

I became a doula in 2017 in between my first two pregnancies. While researching labor and delivery during my first pregnancy, the word doula popped up. The idea that another person would continuously be fully present for my husband and I supporting us, our beliefs and our desires for labor and delivery gave me so much confidence and comfort. It was such an influential experience and I became passionate about doula work. My doula became a mentor for me and encouraged me to attend a training with Lifespan Doulas and I have only grown in my passion for this work.

I have a background in personal training and have also completed training in postpartum doula work which has given a multi-layered approach to my clients throughout pregnancy and recovery. I have always been drawn to the vocation of motherhood and am grateful for this opportunity to serve families. When I am not working, you can usually find me running around outside with my four little children in the woods or in a garden.

I am a certified birth doula & Certified Body Ready Method Pro serving the Metro-Detroit area. The role of a doula (Greek doule, meaning servant) is to assist physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually on whichever route you, your partner, and ultimately your child choose to birth. Part of my personal mission as a doula is for both you and your baby to be known, heard, received, & loved throughout your journey. My role is to help make your pregnancy and delivery as smooth, peaceful, safe, and joyful as possible!

From a very young age I have been fascinated by pregnancy, birth, & all things babies. I began my journey towards becoming a birth doula in 2020 and have loved every moment from the start! I am passionate about safe, effective, peaceful, empowered births. I am a mother to a beautiful baby boy, and I enjoy reading in the sun, cooking with my husband, gardening and holding babies. I reside in Metro Detroit.
